KYN61‑40.5 Type Armored Withdrawable AC Metal‑Enclosed Switchgear
This switchgear is suitable for three‑phase, 50 Hz AC power systems, and is used in power plants, substations, and industrial distribution rooms for accepting and distributing electrical energy. It also provides comprehensive circuit control, protection, and monitoring functionality.

Features

The cabinet is made of aluminized zinc-coated steel sheets, which are processed and formed using CNC equipment, then assembled using bolts or rivets into a fully assembled structure.
It is compatible with ZN85-40.5 vacuum circuit breaker trolleys, as well as VN1, VD4, or HD4 vacuum circuit breaker trolleys. The main busbar runs through the switchgear without the need for transition cabinets.
The cable compartment is spacious, allowing for the connection of multiple cables, which facilitates cable access and management.

Product Structure

The switchgear cabinet structure is designed according to the armored metal-enclosed switchgear standards in GB/T 3906 and IEC 62271. It consists of two main parts: the cabinet body and the withdrawable section (also called the handcart). The cabinet body is of an assembled type, formed by bolted connections. Inside the switchgear cabinet, metal partitions divide the interior into separate compartments for the circuit breaker, main busbar, cable, and relay/instrument rooms. The enclosure’s protection level reaches IP3X, while the protection level between compartments is IP2X. All metal structural parts are reliably grounded. The compartments of the main circuit system feature independent exhaust pressure release channels.

The withdrawable section (handcart) can be categorized by function into circuit breaker handcart, voltage transformer handcart, metering handcart, isolating handcart, etc. All handcarts have the same external dimensions, and handcarts with the same function are highly interchangeable. Within the cabinet, the handcart has test/isolation and operating positions, each equipped with interlock mechanisms to ensure that the handcart cannot be moved freely when in either position.
