HXGN□‑12/24 AC Metal‑Enclosed Ring Main Unit (RMU)
This ring main unit employs an SF₆-insulated main switch, but the entire cabinet uses air insulation. It is designed for three‑phase, 50 Hz systems with voltage ratings from 12 kV to 24 kV, suitable for ring‑network or dual‑feed power distribution, and serves as a protective and control device for end‑user power equipment.

Features

The cabinet structure is made of aluminized zinc-coated steel sheets formed through multiple bending processes and assembled using plug-in connections, ensuring strength and reliability.
It features a compact and simple structure, attractive appearance, and a well-organized layout.
With the integration of modern sensing technology, new protective relays, superior technical performance, and a lightweight, flexible assembly solution, it is well-suited to adapt to changing market demands.
Optional configurations include electric operating mechanisms, PTs, CTs, UPS systems, and DTUs, enabling its use in distribution automation applications.

Product Structure

The cabinet is constructed by bolted and riveted overlapping assembly of aluminum-zinc coated steel plates or steel plates with surface plastic spraying treatment. It is compact and lightweight, with strong modularity and versatility. The protection level reaches IP3X. The cabinet consists of four main sections:
① Busbar compartment
② Three-position load switch compartment (or circuit breaker compartment)
③ Cable compartment
④ Low-voltage control compartment, as well as measurement or metering circuits, operating mechanisms, interlocking devices, and other components.

Inside the cabinet, the busbar compartment and instrument compartment are located at the top, with the instrument compartment positioned at the front of the busbar compartment. The middle section houses the load switch compartment (or circuit breaker compartment). Steel plate partitions separate adjacent cabinets, preventing faults in one cabinet from affecting neighboring cabinets.
