SOOCIA Recognized as a Zhejiang Provincial Green Factory for 2026

Zhejiang Songxia Electric Meter Co., Ltd. (SOOCIA) has been named a Zhejiang Provincial Green Factory for 2026. The recognition was announced by the Department of Economy and Information Technology of Zhejiang Province in its notice on the 2026 lists of provincial green factories and green industrial parks.

The selection process included company applications, recommendations from local industry authorities, expert assessment and a public notice period. A total of 549 factories across Zhejiang Province were newly recognized in this round. For SOOCIA, the designation acknowledges its green manufacturing efforts and marks further progress in improving its manufacturing systems and advancing greener operations.

Green factory development integrates green manufacturing principles into factory planning, construction and operations. Key priorities include lower-carbon energy use, resource efficiency and cleaner production, helping manufacturers use resources more efficiently and reduce the environmental impact of their operations.

Founded in 1992, SOOCIA develops and manufactures electricity metering products for power sector customers in China and overseas. Electricity metering provides an essential foundation for billing and energy management. With a focus on metering accuracy, operational reliability and the requirements of different markets, the company continues to strengthen its product development, manufacturing and quality control capabilities, providing dependable metering support for customers' energy management needs.

Building on this recognition, SOOCIA will continue to improve its energy, resource and environmental management in line with its production processes and operating needs, incorporating green factory development into everyday operations. The company will remain focused on electricity metering, improving product development and manufacturing processes to reduce energy and resource consumption and raise efficiency while maintaining product quality.
